A week after a bidding war over a condominium townhouse in the King and Dufferin area, buyers with rejected offers turned their attention to this nearly identical unit in the same complex, says agent Christopher Bibby.

“Downtown, freehold [townhouse] prices are so high that this is a decent alternative,” he says, citing the added benefit of a low monthly maintenance fee of $213.

“We ended up selling in a matter of days.”

The 1,700-square-foot unit is the largest model available in the project, with three bedrooms, three bathrooms and several rooms for entertaining.

As well, there is a 500-square-foot rooftop terrace equipped with lights, built-in speakers and outlets for power and water. “The rooftop was really the main attraction,” says Mr. Bibby. “Being that high up, you actually had a 360-degree view.”

Directly below, the third level has two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The master also has a walk-in closet.

The second level has a living and dining area and a kitchen with stainless-steel appliances and granite counters and breakfast bar overlooking a family room with a gas fireplace and a deck.

On the ground floor, there is an open den and a third bedroom, along with direct access to the garage.

Hardwood floors and broadloom carpeting were installed, along with laundry machines and central vacuum and alarm systems.
