The Agent’s Take: “The quality of construction of some of the older buildings is superior to the new buildings and you’re getting a lower price per square foot,” agent Christopher Bibby says.
“There’s also a lot of renovations happening in the common areas … so the building [decor] was really being brought up to par with new buildings at King and Bathurst.”
The cosmetic changes to this unit also enhanced its built-in qualities. “My clients basically renovated the space from top to bottom. Nothing in the unit was original … and all the finishes were of such a high calibre,” Mr. Bibby notes.
“[Plus] you do get those extremely high ceilings about 20 feet, so it has a bright, open, airy feel.”
